LINKAGES & BUSINESS MATCH MAKING
The Cluster and Linkages Department of Jamaica Trade and Invest researches and packages opportunities to facilitate the development of linkages. These include the matching of buyers and suppliers with like interests in an attempt to form mutually beneficial contractual arrangements.
As part of this intervention the CLD uses JBOS to:
- Register the capabilities of firms,
- Highlight buyers of goods and services for major events and projects,
- Package a directory of suppliers to promote their goods and services
- List opportunities related to these projects and events, and
- Perform business and partner-matching to link firms to the buyers.
